Chris & Sara Lindsey, Lead Pastors

 

Sara was born in Longview, Washington she moved back to Kern County, Shafter, California with her parents only 18 days after being born. She was raised in Shafter where she attended a private school until 8th grade. Once, in high school Sara attended and graduated from Shafter High. Sara has completed her Associates of Life Science, Child Development, and associate in liberal studies at Taft College. Sara also completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Phoenix and her Masters Degree in special education and liberal arts at the university of Grand Canyon. Chris and Sara were High School sweethearts that married 16 days after high school graduation. This June they will be celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary. 

 

Chris and Sara have four amazing children and one beautiful grand daughter. Chris and Sara have attended a Church of God in Kern County for over 21years. It was at this church were they both felt the call on their life to youth and young adult ministries.  They are both Spirit-filled anointed Church of God ministers, that have a heart for the young adults and youth not only in the central coast, but all over California. Chris ministers through music, vocal and instrumental. Their desire since moving to the beautiful central coast to disciple young people in relationship with Christ and to stand for what is right in the sight of God. They also wish to show the love of God through actions and deeds and teaching young people to love everyone despite their short comings.
